Westport Golf Club will make history this weekend when they send the first ever all-girls team to represent Ireland at the Junior Home Nations Inter-Club finals, a feat that’s been years in the making for the ground-breaking Connacht Club.
The team of nine players set sail to the UK for the 12-team championship from 2-6 April in Shropshire, UK.
We caught up with TY team member, Mary Kate Mc Hale, before she headed off on Friday to find out more about this International competition.
