Today is the first day of Catholic Schools Week 2023. The theme for this year is ‘walking together in faith and love’. Today’s theme focuses on walking together in faith. As a Catholic school, we walk in faith with our community of believers. We support each other, we listen to each other, we accompany each other on our journey. In faith, we reach out to our fellow believers; with them we build up the kingdom of God. It’s not always easy, there will be challenges, even dark times, but faith can carry us through. ‘Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life; whoever comes to me shall not hunger, and whoever believes in me shall never thirst.’” Amen.
